He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Heller and Frances Heller (Gubbels); his siblings, Alvin Heller (Ethel), Elaine Buckley (Harold), Mary Finken (Bob), Rose Ann Schnuettgen (Gus) and Darlene Kenkel; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Heller and Gene Thielen.

He is survived by: his wife Doramae Heller of Portsmouth; his children, Jacqueline Reinig (Allan) of Portsmouth, Cheri DeWispelare (Tom) of Omaha and Rog Heller (Christy) of Omaha; his grandchildren, Byron Borkowski (Alina), Jocelyn Squatrito (Ryan), Nicholai DeWispelare, Anna Sommer (Cole) and Henry Heller; his stepgranddaughter Dr. Erica Reing; his great grandchildren, Grant and Seraphina; his siblings, Rich Heller of Portsmouth, Bonnie Thielen of Denver and Veral Heller (Mary) of Green Valley, Arizona; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Kenkel of Earling, Mike Dermody (Kathleen) of St. Louis, Joe Dermody (Renee) of Neola, Tom Dermody (Deppe) of Indianapolis and Steve (Rosemary) of Council Bluffs. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a donation to be made in his name at St. Mary's Parish.
