It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeffrey S. Lloyd of Prairie City, Iowa, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Larry Lloyd; his grandchildren, Zachary, Tiffany, Joanna, Alissa (Levi), Micah, Colin, Madi, Kati, Bailey, Timmy, Seth, Wyatt, Miles, Amelia, Claire, Marcus, Owen, Natalie, Cody, Emily and Charlotte; his niece Morgan; and his in-laws, Carl and Reatha Evans.
He is survived by: his mother Ruth Lloyd; his wife Beverly Evans; his children, Jeffrey "Scott" II, Jennifer Kaiser (Bryant), Kimberly Campbell, Wendy Botterbrodt (Justin), Michael (Emily), Christine Curtis (Tyler) and Nathan (Mollie); and his brothers, Lincoln, Garth and John.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Anchor Baptist Church (5510 Brookview Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery.
To honor his memory, memorial contributions may be given to the family and will be directed to Iowa Regular Baptist Camp or the Christian Motorcyclists Association.
