He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Thomas and Ellen Wood (Stone); his parents-in-law, Carl and Vera Bovaird; and his siblings, Carolyn Sue Trujillo, Sheryl Clark and Wayne Wood (Kathy).

He is survived by: his wife Doloris; his children, Melissa Wood of Omaha, NE and Michael Wood (Carrie) of Corning; his grandchildren, Ryan (Erika Christensen) of Orient, Bryson Wood and Brayden Wood of Corning; his son Daniel (Janet) of Hurley, MO; his grandchildren, Megan Wood (Sasha Schwartz) of Chicago and Allison Wood (Clay Sartin) of Marshfield, MO; Daniel Thomas Wood of Marshfield. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
