He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Hunt (Wold) and Bert Hunt; his wife Marjorie Wittrock; his grandson-in-law Javan Kruse; and his sister Jean Struve (Daniel).
He is survived by: his daughter Jan Gaudian (Darwin); his granddaughters, Darcy Fritz (Brian) and Danielle Kruse; his great grandchildren, Madison, Adalynn, Brynlee Fritz, Ali, Nate and Ryan Kruse; and his son Jim (Mara).
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the United Church of Primghar (465 Heritage Park Rd, Primghar, IA 51245). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
