He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ploeg and Gertie Vander Ploeg (Vanden Brink). He is survived by: his sons, Stronz Vander Ploeg (Kate) of Phoenix, Keaton Vander Ploeg of Flagstaff, Caleb Vander Ploeg (Vanessa) of Chicago and Drew Vander Ploeg of Rigby, Idaho; his grandchildren, Anderson, Clark and Avery Vander Ploeg; and his siblings, Dianne (Jerry Hallstrom), David (Peggy Vander Ploeg), Timothy (Sherry Vander Ploeg), Jonathan (Pam Vander Ploeg) and Daniel (Lynne Vander Ploeg). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
