He is survived by: his son James Carter (Heather); his grandchildren, Erica Voshell, Anthony Carter, Veronica Carter, Devin Engle, Erica Engle and Alex Engle; his siblings, Jolene Springsteen and Paul Carter (Cindy); and his close friends, Lavinna Moore Kuberski and Cyndi Neavor.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home (644 River Dr, Bettendorf, IA 52722).
