She was predeceased by: her father Donald Phillips. She is survived by: her husband Don Carpenter; her children, Ben Carpenter (Jaime), Sarah Foster (Lance), Zeb Carpenter (Mary) and Ethan Carpenter (Liz); her grandchildren, Rachael Carpenter, Daniel Carpenter (Abby), Aaron Carpenter, Anna Carpenter, Madalyn Carpenter, Austin Talley (Courtney), Cody Talley, Zemairah Carpenter, Ezekiel Carpenter, Noah Carpenter, Mathias Carpenter and Reese Carpenter; her great grandchild Taylor Talley; her mother Colleen Phillips; and her siblings, Mike Phillips (Karen), Donnie Phillips and Ted Phillips (Deb). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Martensdale Community Church (3953 Hoover St, Prole, IA 50229). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at the Webb Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Martensdale Community Church in Leigh's memory.
