She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard J. Pecinovsky and Ludmilla "Lula" Pecinovsky (Praska); her husband Robert W. Pecinovsky; her son Steven; her siblings, Ann (Leonard Recker) of Alta Vista, IA and Leonard (Rosie Pecinovsky); her siblings-in-law, Gary Stejskal of Oelwein, IA., Sylvia Pecinovsky of Cedar Rapids, IA. and Irma Meyer of West Concord, MN.; and her son-in-law Dennis Coleman of Portland, OR..

She is survived by : her sister Diane Stejskal of Oelwein, IA; her children, Sylvester (Deswita) of Merced, CA., Clair (Marilyn) of Cresco, IA., Lois Zajicek (Ken) of Ossian, IA., Theresa Coleman of Portland, OR., Michael (Carol) of Protivin, IA., Christopher (Lori) of Mabel, MN., Peter of Marktredwitz, Germany, Cathy Newman (Mike) of Caledonia, MN. and Bobby (Lori) of Auburndale, FL; and her sister-in-law Mildred Peterson of Stewartville, MN. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (124 N Main St, Protivin, IA 52163). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Mary's name.
