She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Klees and Coral Klees (Moose); her siblings, Samuel Klees, Sandra McKee, Dixie Keenan, Janet Reinhardt, Daniel Klees and Kermit Klees; her nephew Joe McKee; her brothers-in-law, Vernon Shogren, Albert Keenan, James McKee and Donnie Balik; and her in-law Helen Balik.
She is survived by: her husband John Balik; her sisters, Nancy Bakula (John) of Fort Atkinson, IA, Janice Shogren of Waukon, IA and Linda Lou Heeler (Philip) of Savannah, MO; and her in-laws, Rita Busta (Jim) of Mountain Grove, MO, Mary Jo Panos (Ken) of Protivin, IA, Eddie Balik of Cresco, IA, Carol Winter (Gene) of Lawler, IA and Joann Mrachek (Mike) of Cresco, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers make a donation to John and he will distribute to Howard County Hospice, Regional Health Services of Howard County, Holy Trinity Parish, or the Protivin Fire Department.
