She was predeceased by: her parents, Rueben Pinske (Pete) and Lillian Pinske (Plum); her husband Alan Swenson; her parents-in-law, Art and Rhina Swenson; her siblings, Edward Pinske (Sharon), Robert Pinske and Betty Vaughn (Richard); her sister-in-law Sally Hemric; her son-in-law Joe Lauritson; her nephew Tommy Pinske (Richard Vaughn Jr.); and her niece Sally Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Melody Lauritson of Radcliffe and Rand Swenson (Cara) of Story City; her grandchildren, Dan Fox (Sarah), Kate Mattingly (Adam), Kendra, Cole, Carly and Krista Swenson; her great grandchildren, Molly, Peter, Sawyer Fox, Connor, Aaron, Ty and Taya Mattingly; and her nieces and nephews, Vickie Myers, Connie Milam, Ed Pinkse Jr. (Doris) and Bill Vaughn.
