He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Fredrick Buckingham and Dorothy Irene Buckingham (Loy); his brother Donald Joe Buckingham; his parents-in-law, Ronald Parmer and Jo Ann Parmer (Heston); and his brother-in-law Perry Parmer.

He is survived by: his wife Shiela Diane Buckingham; his children, Trinity of Utah, Cassidy (Kellie) of Osceola and Shardae Nelsen (Tyler) of Osceola; his grandchildren, Hali and Cru Nelsen; and his siblings, Sharrel Kessler (Roger) of Des Moines, Dan (Angie) of Van Wert, Sharry Gay of Trenton, Shirley Symonds (Steve) of Norwalk, Doug (Michelle) of Osceola and Shelly Hewitt (Jimmy) of Osceola. He is also survived by relatives and many dear friends.
