She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Cleave and Edythe Van Cleave (Watkins); and her siblings, LeRoy Van Cleave, Dixie Reace, Carolyn Fifer and Barbra Van Cleave.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth L. Tool of Reasnor, Iowa.; her children, Chris of Reasnor, IA, Dan (Renae) of Reasnor, IA and Rebecca of Newton, IA.; her grandchildren, Kristen, Melinda, Samantha and Timothy; her great grandchildren, Bayne Drake, Baylee and Garrett; and her sister Vicki Kling (Janet Plumb).
