She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Colvin and Edna "Pearl" Colvin (Dobbs); her son Tom Mirts; her grandson Chad Harold; her great grandchild Rylan Mirts; and her sister Shirley Elwood.
She is survived by: her husband Gene Mirts of Red Oak; her children, Paula Harold (Keith) of Red Oak and Kevin Mirts (Alicia Royer) of Red Oak; her grandsons, Scot Harold (Carolyn) of Essex, IA, Brent Harold (Rosa Andres) of Omaha, NE and Kaleb Mirts (Heather) of Red Oak; her great grandchildren, Emily Johnson (Grady) and Camryn Wallace (Brock) of Essex; her grandchildren, Kyle Harold of Red Oak, Cash Harold of Red Oak, Kyler, Blake and Bristol Mirts of Red Oak; and her sisters, Pauline Lincoln of Omaha and Darlene Beck (Don) of Santa Ana, CA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the LeRette Funeral Chapel (525 E. Ratliff Road, Red Oak, IA 51566). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Red Oak Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association.
