She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Lightfoot and Geneva Lightfoot (Schnoor); her husband Leonard Hardy; her son Steven Hardy; and her brothers, Mike and Larry Lightfoot.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Hardy (Karen) of Villisca, IA, Susan Townsend (Randy) of Braddyville, IA, Douglas Hardy (Rebecca Pettit) of Red Oak, IA, William "Bill" Hardy (Amy Eggleston) of Coburg, IA and Iona Bentson (Jamie) of Red Oak, IA; her grandchildren, Johna, Ronnie, Joshua, Kevin, James, Brooke, Britni, Bryce, Kaile, Raymond, Kristopher, Teesha, Kendra, MacKenzee, Tevin and Kyler; and her brother Donald. She is also survived by 35 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the LeRette Funeral Chapel, Inc. (1995 G Ave, Red Oak, IA 51566). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Malvern Cemetery (32290 Marh Ave, Malvern, IA 51551).
