It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darold Lee Swanson of Red Oak, Iowa, who passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Elin Swanson (Hultquist) and Arnold Swanson; his children, Darold Lee, Kevin Swanson, Kirk Swanson (Jerra), Kent Swanson (Margee) and Julie Swanson Hanson (Hal); and his grandchildren, Heather Swanson Long (Clay), Daniel Swanson, Dylan Swanson, Dana Swanson and Lucas Swanson.

The family requests memorials be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Red Oak, Iowa.
