It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Dean Karns of Red Oak, Iowa, born in Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on November 17, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Karns and Virginia Karns (Cochran); and his in-laws, Paul and Florence Peebles. He is survived by : his wife Bev Karns of Red Oak, IA; his son Cody Franson (Abbi) of Moville, IA; his grandchildren, Cooper and Kendall Franson of Moville, IA; and his brother Brad Karns (LeighAnn) of Garwin, IA. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
