He was predeceased by: his parents, James Benedict and Frances Irene Benedict (Phillips); and his wife Judy Benedict. He is survived by: his children, Jody Druivenga (Sean) of Stanton, Iowa and Todd Benedict of Guthrie Center, Iowa; his grandchildren, Dilan Druivenga of Red Oak, Iowa, Dakkota Harrington (Connor) of Kansas City, Missouri and Devin Druivenga of Guss, Iowa; his great grandchildren, Noah Hazel Harrington and Jona Patrick Harrington; and his sister Jean Wederquist of Urbandale, Iowa.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the LeRette Funeral Chapel, Inc. (1995 G Ave, Red Oak, IA 51566). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Maple Grove Church or the Nodaway Saddle Club.
