She was predeceased by: her parents, June Henry and Geneva Susan Wise (Richardson). She is survived by: her children, Lu Ann Kahl, Stephen Kahl and Connie Butterworth; her grandchildren, Timothy Kahl, Rebecca Goodman and Valesca Gaylord-DeRosa; and her sister-in-law Frieda Kahl of Crescent, Iowa. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Peterson Mortuary, Inc. (212 S Locust St, Glenwood, IA 51534). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
