As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, we take solace in the memories we hold dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lorene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard Mitchell and Ethel Mitchell (Hoyt); and her sisters, Irene Walker, Doris Newberg, Hazel Palmer and Betty McMorran.

She is survived by : her extended family, Ivan Beck (Ruth) of Red Oak and Gene Palmer (Rose) of Red Oak. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel, Inc. (1995 G Ave, Red Oak, IA 51566). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
