She was predeceased by: her parents, Duane Forest and Eleanor Forest (Knutson); her stepmother Betty Forest; her grandparents, Olaf, Blanche Knutson, Hans and Geneva Forest; and her nephew Josh Carney.
She is survived by: her siblings, Michael Forest (Suzanne) of Columbia, Maryland, Linda Cuthrell (Paul) of Peterson, Iowa and Bruce Forest (Mary) of Park Hills; her aunts and uncles, Mavis, Ron Greenwood of Merrimack, John, Lyla Severson of Sioux Falls and Roger Knutson of Sioux Falls; and also Sally Carney (Dennis) of Des Moines, Iowa. She is also survived by ten nieces and nephews; and ten great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Greenwood Schubert Funeral Home - Cherokee (216 S 2nd St, Cherokee, IA 51012). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
