We bid farewell to Phyllis Stebbins of Red Oak, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 8, 2025 at the age of 100. Phyllis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Phyllis leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Phyllis may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph J. Stebbins and Vera E. Stebbins (Caruth); her siblings, Shirley Stebbins, Geraldine Humphrey and Ralph Stebbins; and her siblings-in-law, Blaine Humphrey, Evelyn Stebbins and Joan Stebbins.
She is survived by: her brother Robert Stebbins of Council Bluffs, Iowa; her nieces, Susan Steffens (Roy Miller) of Omaha, Nebraska and Diane Michalski (Blake) of Omaha, Nebraska; and her nephew Robert Stebbins, Jr. (Louisa) of Clermont, Florida. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Red Oak Presbyterian Church (511 E Coolbaugh St, Red Oak, IA 51566). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
