She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Van Dorn and Mallie Collins Watkins Negly; her son George; her sister Letha Rossander; her siblings-in-law, Henry Rasmussen and Pauline Rasmussen; and her nephews, Denny and Merlin Rasmussen.
She is survived by: her children, Steven (Delores Karwal), Bryan (Debbie Ann Karwal), Don (Janna Karwal) and Debra Dvorak (Brian) of Spencer, Iowa; her daughter-in-law Patty Karwal of Elliott, Iowa; her brother-in-law Robert Rossander (Ross); and her sibling's children, Harry Rossander, Carl Rossander, Ronald Rasmussen, Diane Adams and Denise Wilson. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren.
