She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon William and Lorene Freda Norris Lantz; her sister Ila Livingston; and her granddaughter Cynthia Marshall. She is survived by: her husband Donald Cordell of Redding, IA; her children, Melanie Spencer (Susan Anderson) of Duluth, MN, Gayla Moreau of LaPorte, IN, Eugene "Gene" Spencer (Cheryl) of Oskaloosa, IA and Roberta "Burt" Delperdang (Steve) of Crescent, IA.; and her stepchildren, Donna, Peggi, Ed, Pam and Donny. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Memorials are to the United Baptist Presbyterian Church.
