She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Bales and Thelma Bales; and her sister Sally. She is survived by: her husband Gary Curnes; and her sons, Nicholas Curnes (Michelle) and Kenneth Curnes (Shannon).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory - Winterset Chapel (1823 N John Wayne Dr, Winterset, IA 50273). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a future designation.
