He is survived by: his wife Patti Ehlers Petersen; his daughters, Jodi Cale (Mike) of Lincoln, NE and Jill Swangel of Cedar Falls; his stepchildren, Josh Petersen (Ashley) of Waverly and Jill Muller (Jordan) of Reinbeck; and his brother Mike Richardson of Tama. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
