He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Klinghammer of Reinbeck; his sons, LeRoy Klinghammer of Texas and Kris Klinghammer (Laurie Wyman) of Elk Horn; his stepchildren, Ron Herrmann of Waterloo, Jana Herrmann of West Branch, Renee Meade of North Liberty and Jason Dolf (Heather) of Raymond; his sister Karen Klinghammer of Marion; and his friend Lowell Dauenbaugh (Joyce). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Croix Hospice.
