He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Kappler and LaVon Kappler (Peters); and his brother Wayne Kappler (Lynne). He is survived by: his nephews, Gene (Marty), Roger (Thuy) and Neal Kappler; his niece Barb LeClair; and his caregivers, John, Rahkel Hansen, Andy, Sarah Hansen, Matt Hansen, Bill, Becky Fitchner and Luke Bogen.
