She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Schipper and Kathryn Schipper (Orban); and her in-laws, Orville and Dorothy Nemmers. She is survived by: her husband Nicholas Nemmers of Le Mars, IA; her daughters, Shelly Schipper of Phoenix, AZ, Paulette Skarich (Kevin) of Davenport, IA, Julie Stock (Jason) of Le Mars, IA, Nicole Hoekstra (Ryan) of Maurice, IA, Jackie Hoag (Chip) of Le Mars, IA and Christina Obbink (TJ) of Le Mars, IA; and her siblings, Sharon Boettger (Dean) of Marshaltown, IA, Wayne Schipper (Marleen) of Le Mars, IA, Merle Schipper (Kay) of Le Mars, IA, Diane Schipper of Sioux City, IA and Deb Hettwer (Brian) of Sioux City, IA. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the All Saints Parish-St. James Catholic Church (109 6th Ave SW, Le Mars, IA 51031). Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 4:15 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the same location. A prayer was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
