He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Fromme and Faye Fromme (Richardson); his wife Dianne Asmussen; and also, Oscar, Marie Asmussen (Harms), Arvin, Alvern Verlyn and Vonnie Asmussen.
He is survived by: his sister Joan Quinn of Remsen; his nephew C. Dale Quinn of Rigby, ID; and his brother-in-law Delwyn Asmussen. He is also survived by three great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church (423 S Washington St, Remsen, IA 51050). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Remsen City Cemetery.
