With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Gene Hartman of Remsen, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 13, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hartman, Jr. and Fern LaVerne Hartman (Sturtevant); his brother Leland Hartman; his brother-in-law Terry Highley; and his nephew Aaron Hartman.
He is survived by: his son David Hartman of Sioux Falls; his granddaughters, Justine Sorensen, Hailey Hartman, Kate Trebil, Ellie Hartman and Taylor Hartman; and his sisters, Ardyce Highley of Kansas City and Janice Hansen (Leonard) of LeMars. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
