He was predeceased by: his parents, Hartley Friesleben and Wilma Friesleben (Haupt); and his brother Harvey Friesleben. He is survived by: his wife Diane Selland; his daughters, Michelle [Corey] Peters and Melinda [Dale] McCaw; and his grandchildren, Ellie Peters, Jake Peters, Cash McCaw and Cade McCaw.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Foust Funeral Home (1115 SW 2nd St, Eagle Grove, IA 50533). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (206 Gillespie St, Renwick, IA 50577).
