With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Curran Guy (Renwick, Iowa), who passed away on October 18, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Guy and Loretta Guy; his siblings, Jack Guy, Emily, Maxine Collins, Charlotte Bye, Patricia Bram and Geraldine Crossley (Joe Guy); his great grandchild Christopher Guy; and his former wife Arlene Gerber.
He is survived by: his children, David Guy (Lisa) of New Lisbon, WI, Bruce Guy (Carol) of Roseau, MN, Deanne Beson (Tom) of Laingsburg, MI and Tim Guy (Renee) of Luverne, MN; his grandchildren, Matthew, Melissa, Adam, Jason, Jordan, Jenna, Sydney, Hannah, Dustin, Jake, Aaron, Lauren and Joseph; his sister Margaret Haugland; his sisters-in-law, Betty Guy and Deb Guy; and his sibling Lake. He is also survived by 39 great grandchildren, many extended family members, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Renwick Baptist Church (108 Montgomery St, Renwick, IA 50577). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the Riverview Cemetery.
