Though Dorothy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dorothy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Beck and Nellie Beck (Petersen); her husband Orville William Frederick Baethke; her granddaughter Bobbi Jo Alstat; and her brothers, Don Beck and Dale Beck (Shirley).
She is survived by: her children, Rick Baethke (Carol) of Lime Springs, IA, Susan Norman (Ron) of Lime Springs, IA and David Baethke (Diane) of Elma, IA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
