As Leland departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Leland. Though Leland may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Breitsprecher and Elsie Breitsprecher (Roman); his brother Leonard; and his siblings-in-law, Duane Brunner and Gail Tappe (LeRoy).
He is survived by: his wife Gean Jordan; his sisters-in-law, Glea and Audrey; his nephew John Brunner (Tracy); and his cousin Carol Hunchis.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Congregational United Church of Christ - Riceville (101 E Main St, Riceville, IA 50466). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
