He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Lubbert and Marie Lubbert. He is survived by: his wife Erma; his daughter Cindy Gomez; his son-in-law George Gomez; his son Tim Lubbert (Lisa Woeber); and his granddaughter Gwendolyn Lubbert (Gwen).
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Peter's Lutheran Church (105 W 6th St, Riceville, IA 50466).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The National Park Service, Make A Gift - National Park Foundation.
