He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Halverson and Bernice "Betty" Halverson (Schultz); and his parents-in-law, Carl Vatland and Lorriane Harkness (Wayne). He is survived by: his wife Colleen Vatland; his son Brady; his close friend Buddy; and his siblings, Norma (Kenny) and Jim (Deb).
