We announce the death of Colleen Ann Hubert of Rinard, Iowa, who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 75. Colleen Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hughes and Bernice Hughes (Knoble); her stepmother Barbara Hughes (Henderson); her stepbrother Steve Miller; her great-nephew Chase Mitchell Wilson (Gilligan); and her former husband Bill Hubert.
She is survived by: her sister Cynthia Holtgrewe (Keith) of Papillon, NE; her stepsisters, Kim Quade (Rick) of Somers, Shelly Powers (Todd) of Farnhamville and Marci Markley (Rick) of Rinard; her niece Jessica Wilson-Gilligan (Mitchell); her great-nephews, Cameron and Caiden Gilligan; and her nephew Jordan Wilson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Laufersweiler Funeral Home (307 S 12th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
