James D. Stransky Obituary

We bid farewell to James D. Stransky of Riverside, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 3, 2025 at the age of 66. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane "Bud" Stransky and Wilma Stransky (Hahn); and his brother Jeff Stransky. He is survived by: his sons, Jacob Stransky (Lacey) of Riverside and Timothy Stransky of Riverside; his grandchildren, Abigail, Carsen, Emmerson, Beau and Layla; his siblings, Joe Stransky (Julie) of Riverside, Vicki Chalupa (Don) of Riverside, Jeannette Hein (Tim Williams) of Walford and Julie Ellis (Bob) of Colfax, NC; and his sister-in-law Sue Stransky of Iowa City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Jim.
