He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Katy" Swaink of Riverton, IA; his children, Dan Swaink (Stacy) of Syracuse, NE, Matt Swaink (Lori Robinson) of Hamburg, IA, Russell Swaink of Riverton, IA and Kyila Cooper of Farragut, IA; his nephew Jim Downing of Shenandoah, IA; his grandchildren, Susan, Danny, Jill (Matt Meyer), Jared, John, Nathan (Serita), Andrew (Dalsis), Quentin (Jessica), Phillip (Koh) and Kathleen (Damyn); and his siblings, Ethel Ward, Verma Ward and Sharon Hendrickson (Charlie). He is also survived by 25 great-granchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
