She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gilbert and Mary Loretta Gilbert (Young); her daughter Michelle Atkins; and her siblings, Richard Gilbert, Mary Kay Dilly and Shirley Roberts.
She is survived by: her husband Boyd Bechtold of Riverton, IA; her children, Jason Atkins of New Bloomington, OH, Michael Bechtold of Ord, NE and Julie Connelly of Grand Island, NE; and her siblings, Jack Gilbert of Parker, PA and Faith Garrett of New Haven, PA. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials in her memory may be given to the Riverton Fire and Rescue.
