Jeanne Rathje Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanne Rathje of Robins, Iowa, who passed away on December 23, 2023 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jeanne Rathje to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Simmer and Ruth Simmer (Nerison); her husband Henry "Hank" Charles Rathje Jr. of Stephen's Lutheran Church; her sisters, Joyce Barrett, Pauline McKechnie and Joanne Bright; her great grandchild Jillian Brown; and her grandson-in-law Jonathan Brown.

She is survived by : her children, Joni Puckett (Gary), Julie Steinauer (Larry) and Jerry Rathje (Kay); her grandchildren, Jeni Brown, Mary Nemer, Heather Snodgrass (Ford), Andrea Rathje, Erin Rathje, Jonathon Puckett (Amanda), Derek Steinauer and Sydney Steinauer; her great grandchildren, Jocelyn, JJ Brown, Fordy and Lane Snodgrass; her brother-in-law Moe Bright of Atkins; and her close friends, Barb and Ken DeKlotz. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
