He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Sunderman and Grace Sunderman (Kreason). He is survived by : his wife Karen Sunderman of Robins; his children, Ryan Sunderman (Nikki) of Marion and Jami Rosekrans (Scott) of Robins; his grandchildren, Tenley, Treyson Rosekrans, Ayla and Jordyn Sunderman; and his siblings, Peggy Leonard (Tom), Bonnie Laug (Denny), Mary Jo Sutherland (Larry), Norma Otto (Alan), Linda Sunderman (Karen), Joe Sunderman (Teri), Larry Sunderman (Janet) and Paula Parker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jerry's memory may be directed to the Hall Perrine Cancer Center or the Dennis & Donna Hospice House of Mercy.
