He is survived by: his wife Connie Gentry; his children, Laura Umstead (Josh) of Ely, Mark Davis (Lisa) of Walford, Ann Neumann (Cory) of Geneseo and Jon Gentry (Courtney) of Geneseo; his stepdaughter Lynn Vorwald (Ken) of Dyersville; his grandchildren, Cael Deflieger of Walford, Jake Umstead (Lilian Jones) of Walford, Brynlee Deflieger of Ely, Jayden Umstead of Ely, Taylor Davis of Walford, Colt Davis of Walford, Levi Neumann, Harrison Neumann, Wyatt Neumann, Suzanne Neumann of Geneseo, Maxx Gentry of Geneseo and Maelyn Gentry (Samuel Buser) of Geneseo, Illinois; his great grandchild Bowyn Buser of Geneseo; and his siblings, Janice Heartlein (Jack) of Peoria, Mary Kay Sims (James) of Bettendorf and Gary Gentry (Carolyn) of Waukee, Iowa..
