He was predeceased by : his parents, John H DeBoer and Anna DeBoer (Jurrens); his wife Janice Kay DeNoble; his siblings, Harlan DeBoer and Erma Arends (Anthony); and his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Jeanette DeNoble.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of George (4102 190th St, George, IA 51237). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the DeBoer family for later designation.
