With solemn reverence, we commemorate Loren Dengler of Rock Rapids, Iowa, whose life came to an end on May 12, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Dengler and Laura Dengler (Berg); his siblings, Wilfred Dengler, Alvin Dengler, Alfred Dengler, Elmer Dengler (Vernice) and Mildred Haviland (Jim); his siblings-in-law, Clifford Phipps and Henrietta Van Roekel (Art); his nephew Larry Dengler; and his granddaughter Holly Dengler.
He is survived by: his wife Viola Bonestroo; his children, Greg Dengler (Shar) and Vaunda Klink (Al); his grandchildren, Brian Dengler (Melody), Amanda Hayes (Nolan), Matt Dengler (Faye) and Devin Klink; his sister Martha Phipps; his sister-in-law Evelyn Dengler; and his grandson Cameron Greenfield (Jayne). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Reformed Church in Rock Rapids, or the Lyon County Fair.
