She was predeceased by: her parents, Rena Wibben (Eeten) and Eilert Wibben; and her husband Walter Smid. She is survived by: her children, Debra Schomburg (James), Darvin Smid (Laurie), Diane Smid-Breyfogle, Donna Spartz (Dale) and Davis Smid; and her sister-in-law Jennie Wibben. She is also survived by her grandchildren: great grandchildren.
