She is survived by: her children, Garry De Bruin (Robin), Marsha Newborg (Merle), Dean De Bruin (Janine), Cheryl Bos (Randy) and Kevin De Bruin; her grandchildren, Kim Bos, Kayla Vander Lee (Tom), Jackie Elbers (Matt), Melissa Snyders (Travis), R. Kody Bos (Jurnea), David De Bruin (Karen), Matt Newborg (Ashley), Karlee Bos (Aaron Miller), Bergin Koch (Darin) and Madisyn Newborg (Cole Tousignant); her great grandchildren, Brielle, Baylor, Briggs Vander Lee, Jaylee, Laina Elbers, Emery, Riley, Adalyn Snyders Rhettyn, Auggie Bos, Eli and Ezekiel De Bruin; her brother Kenneth; and her sister-in-law Harriet Postma.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jurrens Funeral Home (1207 Park Dr, Rock Rapids, IA 51246). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
