She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Hendrix and Mary Helgerson Hendrix; her husband Mern; her daughter Debbie; her granddaughter Emma; her great grandchild Cole McClure; her siblings, Homer Hendrix (Helen), Gladys Rietberg (Al), Verna Mader (Jack) and Carol Wilson (Eddie); and her siblings-in-law, Helen Hendrix, Mel Gough and William Livengood.
She is survived by: her sister Barbara "Bobbie" Gough; her sister-in-law Mary Jane Livengood of St. Louis, MO.; her grandchildren, Heather Fields, Meghan McClure (Josh), David Soroka (Dustin), Jared Soroka, Trevor Smets (Jordan), Hannah Smets, Colby Smets (Bear) and Noah Fields; her great grandchildren, Haley McClure, Micah Fields, Calvin John Sigmund (CJ), Mackenzie, Kaden, Chloe, Keegan McClure, Ayden, Avery Soroka, Scarlett Smets and Adeline Smets; and her great great grandchildren, Bradley Copeland, Evelyn Ramirez, Cole Burns and Luna McClure.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Calendar Jurrens Funeral Home (1207 Park Dr, Rock Rapids, IA 51246). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family will be directing all memorials to the Rock Rapids EMTs.
