She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornie Zanten and Wilma Van Zanten (Kooima); her brothers, Larry and Randy Van Zanten; and her grandson Lucas Vander Plaats.
She is survived by: her husband Dixon Granstra; her children, Allison Vander Haar (Chad) and Troy Van Roekel (Katie); her stepchildren, Darla Vander Plaats (Bob), Darin Granstra (Lori) and Dolan Granstra (Cherish); her grandchildren, Connor, Madison, Levi Vander Haar, Tyler, Kellen, Kennedy, Kamden Van Roekel, Hans Vander Plaats (Courtney), Josh Vander Plaats (Daniela), Logan Vander Plaats (Taylor Sernett), Brennan Granstra (Rachel), Jake Granstra (Meghan), Jeffrey Granstra (Brooke), Ben Granstra (Kayla), Olivia Granstra (Beau De Jongh), Dallas Granstra (Jamie) and Drake Granstra (Kerrigan); her brother Chad Van Zanten; and her sister-in-law Burnette Sawyer. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the First Christian Reformed Church (1401 16th St, Rock Valley, IA 51247). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
