She was predeceased by: her parents, Manus Jong and Etta De Jong (Anema); her brothers, Fred, Kenneth, Arnold, Manuel, Herman and Charlie; her siblings-in-law, Henry Vis and Jean De Jong; her in-laws, Wayne, Jennie Van Wyhe and Rodney Tilstra; and her siblings' children, Marcia De Jong, Michael De Jong, Randy Tilstra and Terry Tilstra.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence De Roon; her children, Lynette Bonnema (Dale) of Sioux Falls, Douglas De Roon of Beresford, Daniel De Roon (Arline) of Harrisburg, David De Roon (Pam) of Rock Valley and Derrick De Roon of Tampa, Florida; her siblings, Evelyn Vis, Marilyn Doiron and Corky De Jong (Jan); and her sisters-in-law, Eileen De Jong and Carolyn De Jong. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
